HI, I’M GREG JOHNSON

I’m currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying mechanical engineering on a pre-medicine track. Throughout my time in Madison, I have been actively involved in UW-Madison’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders-Guatemala, the Hoofer’s Nordic Ski Team, the American Medical Student Association, and working as an EMT with Midwest Medical.

I love traveling, nature, lighting for the theater and live productions, swing dancing, skiing, and pushing myself to new limits. When I grow up, I want to help people and improve the world with my passions for science and medicine.

Hyperspectral Imaging Lighting System For the spring semester of 2019, I took INTEREGR 170: Design Practicum. During that semester, I worked with 6 other students to help our client, Professor Townsend's Environmental Spectroscopy Lab, to improve the lighting system for their hyperspectral imaging system. Below are the final report and video for our custom product.

Where I've Been I love to travel and I've had the great privilege of going to some amazing places. Here are some of the highlights of my adventures.
